Johnny Frare

President

Johnny Frare has over 37 years of experience in construction and project management in the agri-food, industrial, pharmaceutical and institutional sectors. With his diverse experience in architectural design, construction, cost accounting and management, Johnny has been able to lead business strategy with his management teams and thus directly contribute to the success of each of his companies. Johnny focuses on innovation, quality and customer service. His strategic vision has allowed the company to stay at the forefront of technology and continue to thrive in an ever-changing environment. Johnny's integrity is a guarantee of trust for his clients. His personality is based on fundamental values such as honesty, fairness and transparency, which rigorously guide his professional ethics.

Michel Frare

Vice President of Operations

As an associate and Vice President of Operations at Frare Gallant, Michel is responsible for overseeing the company's operational, logistical, technical and IT activities. His ability to implement effective strategies to improve performance, reduce costs and optimize processes is essential to ensure long-term success. With over 30 years of expertise and inspiring leadership, Michel guides our divisions with confidence, thus contributing significantly to their growth. His commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and proactivity make him an important element within the company.

Luc Cusson, ing., MBA

Vice President - Engineering and Business Development

Luc holds a university degree in food engineering from Université Laval, training in agronomy from Macdonald College (McGill) and an MBA from the University of Sherbrooke. Over the past 34 years, Luc has worked primarily as a design engineer and project director in engineering firms specializing in agri-food and for the past 12 years, has been working for industrial and agri-food building construction companies. As part of his duties, Luc is generally involved in many projects during the "Development" phase to leverage his expertise and practical experience for plant layouts aimed at making them productive and compliant with various industry regulatory requirements (HACCP, GFSI, SQF or others). As an associate and Vice President - Engineering and Business Development, Luc has forged an impressive career in the field of strategic management and business development. With a passion for innovation and proven expertise in creating strong partnerships, he plays a key role in the growth and success of the entire group.

Vincent Colalillo, ing.

Vice President - Strategy and Pre-Construction

Vincent holds a degree in civil engineering from McGill University and has considerable experience of over 34 years in managing complex projects, working in various sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical, commercial, industrial and residential. His expertise extends over several provinces, including Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. With his experience, Vincent knows how to demonstrate a strategic and global vision to implement key initiatives. Relationship builder with a proven reputation for dealing with the inherent difficulties of today's economic environment. Vincent also possesses strong communication skills, technical knowledge and detailed planning ability to lead teams to achieve their goals. Throughout his career, Vincent has led the design and implementation of several programs aimed at improving the efficiency, quality standards and safety of operations. These initiatives have been deployed both in the field, to optimize construction sites, and in an office context, by implementing innovative platforms to increase operational efficiency. In recent years, Vincent has been involved in several project phases, including development and pre-construction, to leverage his expertise and practical experience for plant reorganizations as well as construction projects to ensure compliance with various industry regulatory requirements.

Mario Bérubé, ing., MGP, LEED AE

Vice President of Construction

Mario holds a degree in construction engineering from E.T.S. (École de Technologie Supérieure) and a master's degree in project management from UQAM, as well as over 23 years of experience in carrying out complex projects in industrial, commercial, and particularly agri-food sectors. As an associate member at Frare Gallant, Mario, in his role as VP Construction, is responsible for all projects. He currently leads a team of three (4) "Project Directors" and fourteen (14) "Project Managers". With his experience, Mario knows how to use his imagination to find proven solutions for the smooth running of projects of all sizes and situations ("Fast-Track" and/or building construction). In recent years, Mario has been involved in many projects during the "pre-project" phase to leverage his expertise and practical experience for agri-food plant reorganizations, as well as actual construction projects, to ensure compliance with various industry regulatory requirements (HACCP, GFSI, SQF or others).

Jérôme Dufour, ing., PMP

Vice President - Project Development and Estimation

Jérôme holds a university degree in construction engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), as well as a diploma in civil engineering technology, with over 20 years of experience in industrial and agri-food projects. His career illustrates his commitment to excellence and his passion for the industry. As an associate at Frare Gallant, Jérôme brings significant added value to projects through his innovative and proven solutions. As Vice President - Project Development and Estimation, he excels in implementing efficient estimating processes and identifying best practices to optimize costs while maintaining high quality standards. His dynamic leadership and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders make him an essential element in achieving the company's strategic and development goals.

Éric Hébert, CRIA.

Director of Human Resources

With 25 years in the human resources field, Eric has gained solid experience and has dealt with a multitude of complex situations. During his studies in Industrial Relations, Eric worked in the healthcare system as a Beneficiary Attendant. He regularly worked in the emergency room, which is why no situation destabilizes him. He is able to stay focused and keep his cool, no matter the problem. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree from UQO, he worked in the hospital's human resources department before pursuing his career in the private sector. He gained his experience with different employers in different fields, but always with one common point... the employee. For over 15 years, he has served on the management committees of various companies, bringing his vision and positively influencing organizations. Éric has often been told that he is an atypical HR. Moreover, he fully assumes this label, as he regularly proposes out-of-the-box ideas, quickly understands the company and its environment. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, he brings support to the team towards corporate objectives. A member of the OCRHA, Eric is of unfailing integrity and values respect in all its forms. As Frare Gallant's first HR, Eric joined the team as HR Director in April 2021 and oversees the HR activities of Frare Gallant and its subsidiaries. He set up the department, various policies/procedures and above all he brings the best HR practices within the group. An experienced advisor, he supports managers in decisions and listens to employees.

Sylvain Huot

Controller

Sylvain started as an assistant and then became a controller at Frare Gallant. Sylvain witnessed the time when the accounting department had only two people. However, with the constant evolution of the company, this department quickly progressed. Two people quickly became seven, and the team had to grow to meet the needs of the group. With several years of practical experience, he has gained in-depth expertise in financial analysis, reporting and risk management. He is also recognized for his analytical approach, accuracy and attention to detail. His exciting journey reflects his constant commitment to excellence and his desire to lead his department to new heights.

Mario Théoret

Vice President of Finance

Mario is a leader passionate about corporate financial management. He has extensive experience in various sectors of activity both within large companies and family businesses. Recognized for his modern, open and participative leadership style, focused on concrete improvements and achieving objectives, enabling companies to become more profitable and efficient. Effective team leader, having repeatedly proven his ability to manage complex affairs under time pressure and financial constraints. Continuous improvement and creativity developed within a team represent high-performance activities for him. Mario has been a CPA since 1997, and from the beginning of his career, he was interested in the dashboard and company performance indicators. He has to his credit operational and mobilization improvements in the multiple departments he has overseen such as: finance, IT, distribution and quality control assurance including product development and loss prevention. These improvements have led to productivity and quality gains that have resulted in increased company profits.
