Specialized in meat processing, Aliments Salamina chose FRARE GALLANT to participate in the development and carry out the expansion of its food and meat processing plant located in Laval.
The project consists of adding a floor area of 11,628 sq. ft., a new 2500A electrical entrance, a wastewater treatment system and two mezzanines, one mechanical and one electrical to support the various services of the new premises.
Indeed, various technical rooms are found there: a -20°C freezer, processing rooms meeting CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) standards, two ripening rooms for cured products and two other freezers for lowering the temperature of products.
The complete expansion also includes new administrative offices and living areas for employees including a cafeteria.
