Start of Work on CDMV’s New Facilities in the Biotechnology City

Saint-Hyacinthe, May 10, 2021 – Construction work on CDMV’s new facilities, a Canadian leader
in the marketing of products and medicines dedicated to veterinary practices, has just begun in the Agri-Food and Veterinary Biotechnology City of Saint-Hyacinthe. The event was highlighted by the official groundbreaking ceremony which brought together representatives of the company, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole, the contractor Frare & Gallant and the firm Genipro.

It should be noted that this project, which represents an overall investment of some $30 million, will allow the erection of a 135,000 square foot building at the corner of José-Maria-Rosell and Cartier streets in the Maskoutain technology park. Approximately 200 employees will be grouped in these facilities which will house the head office as well as all of CDMV’s Quebec activities.

The project is coordinated by Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole which will own the building. The work will be carried out by the contractor Frare & Gallant and the firm Genipro. They should be completed as early as spring 2022.
